As a Notarial Consultant, you can expect to be involved in the following range of branches: 

  • Support notaries in their accounting and financial tasks.
  • Proper formatting and processing of financial documents.
  • Be involved in the client acceptance process, including necessary screening and administration.
  • Be responsible for administrative support, such as drafting letters, processing files and maintaining accounts.
  • Play a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of financial data.


You will be joining a professional group and an established firm within the accountancy & audit sector. They have recently opened an additional office, indicating that you will be joining a rapidly growing company with many opportunities for growth.To continue their growth, they are looking for a notarial consultant to join their team. In this role, you will provide direct support to notaries in the East and West Flanders region by assisting them with their financial and administrative work.


As a Notarial Consultant, you are/have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar administrative and/or accounting position within the notarial sector.
  • A bachelor's degree in Accountancy-Taxation/Legal Practice or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent knowledge of Belgian accounting legislation and regulations specific to the notarial profession.
  • Strong administrative skills and an accurate way of working.
  • Good communication skills and friendly in customer contact.
  • Ability to work independently with a sense of responsibility.
  • Willingness to work on-site at notaries' offices in both East and West Flanders.
  • Fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written.
