Mechanical Maintenance Manager

For one of our clients, active within energy infrastructure, we are looking for a Head of Service Mechanics.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and monitoring a close-knit team within the mechanics department (10 or so technicians)
• You help determine the long-term maintenance planning
• Together with the Plant Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for drawing up, following up and monitoring budgets
• Project management is also part of your duties
• You take care of reporting
• Within the framework of the available budgets, you are responsible for stock management
• You will report to the Plant Maintenance Manager

Job requirements:

• You have a degree in a technical field (electromechanics, mechanics, etc.)
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position
• Experience of team leadership and associated responsibilities
• Proficiency in project management
• Good knowledge of budget management
• Strong communication skills
• Problem-solving and decisive
• Knowledge of the energy sector is a plus
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English

You will join an energy infrastructure group active in Gas storage and transportation.
