Mechanical draftsman

As Mechanical Draughtsman, you will be part of a dynamic engineering team and report directly to the Project Manager. You are a crucial link between sales and production, ensuring the processing of engineer-to-order orders.

Your duties and responsibilities:

• Preparing sold files for production according to pre-established schedule and priorities.
• Execute detailed drawings, striving for best value for money for: composition drawings and part drawings, working drawings for production, installation plans, 'as built' drawings for documentation
• Following the entire production process from A to Z: technical support to the Project Manager, support to the production department in parts production and installations, thinking along with the balance between functionality, safety and conformity of the installation
• Supplying the right materials in cooperation with the purchasing department and warehouse: optimal routing in the ERP system for new parts, adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

• Professional Bachelor's degree in Mechanics or Electromechanics, or equivalent through experience.
• Strong affinity for creation, design and development of machinery.
• Excellent command of the Dutch language, knowledge of French and English is a plus.
• Skilled in independently developing, realising and following up on ideas.
• Strong planning skills and able to meet deadlines.
• Familiar with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Thorough knowledge and experience with SolidWorks 3D and AutoCAD 2D.
