Mechanical Design Engineer

• You draw our customised projects in Autocad 3D
• You will be responsible for a part of the work preparation: what is the work order, what needs to be done, in what order, which materials need to be ordered, etc.
• You follow up your projects closely
• After a solid familiarisation period, you make strength calculations
• You translate the sales into a design in such a way that the customer's request can be visualised for the customer
• You work closely with our sales department

Our client specialises in truck and van bodywork, in particular for hoists, loader cranes, container systems, loading containers and other heavy-duty rolling stock. They distinguish themselves by unique customisation.

• You are in possession of a bachelor degree in Electromechanics or you have equivalent experience
• You can work with Autocad 3D
• You have great interest in and affinity with rolling stock
• You have strong technical insight
• You are able to empathise with the wishes of our customers in order to draw up the most feasible project
• You can work autonomously as well as in a team
• You can express yourself in Dutch, knowledge of French is a plus
