- Preparing and planning maintenance works in consultation with production and the maintenance team and following up and coordinating works and repairs

- Ordering necessary materials and liaising with suppliers and third parties

- Directly manage a 7 employees including 3 technicians on the week shifts and 1 technician on the weekend shift

- Co-developing safety regulations, work instructions and procedures and ensuring their correct observance

- Drafting and managing technical documentation and collaborating on projects

- Oversee the cleanliness and orderliness of the working environment

The Mol site consists of four production departments. -

- Float: production of extra-thin flat glass (0.35 mm to 5 mm) for automotive, high-tech and solar applications.

- Vertec: cutting, etching, roasting and chemical hardening of high-tech thin glass for touch screens, tablets, dashboards, self-dimming rear-view mirrors, ...

- Coater: sputtering of wafer-thin metal layers on flat glass to produce heat-resistant windscreens and panoramic sunroofs for the automotive industry.

- Kempenglas: production of insulating double and triple glazing for the construction industry.

- Possess a Bachelor degree in electromechanics or equivalent through experience

- Has good communication and leadership skills and knows how to motivate employees

- Has strong organisational skills and a good technical understanding; problem-solving is a challenge

- Has an eye for safety, quality and order and cleanliness

- Is flexible to work outside normal hours in case of breakdowns/faults and regularly on Saturdays for preventive maintenance

- Works with administrative accuracy and is fluent in Microsoft Office, also has experience with SAP and quickly masters other software
