Maintenance Supervisor

Are you a born leader with a passion for maintenance management? We are looking for a dynamic professional to lead and coach our maintenance staff. As Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the team based on both current and future needs of the organisation. You will ensure that Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) are carried out in a timely and effective manner to ensure the efficient operation and production quality of equipment, while also promoting a safe working environment.

Specifically, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Set priorities for the maintenance department based on current business needs and business vision.
• Facilitate supervision meetings to ensure cooperation and communication between departmental Supervisors.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and support corrective maintenance.
• Evaluate trends in corrective maintenance to determine preventive measures.
• Work with suppliers to capture PM and CM needs.
• Facilitate the procurement of new equipment and support continuous improvement within the maintenance department.
• Essential skills: Leadership, coaching, team development, problem-solving, communication skills, prioritisation, time management, and customer focus.

• Bachelor's degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10 years' experience in a maintenance or operational environment, including 5 years in managerial positions.
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field.
• Strong knowledge of English, both written and oral.
