(Junior) Project Manager
As a colleague, you can expect:
˃A very comprehensive salary package with a customised gross remuneration
˃ A company car with fuel card
˃ A 40-hour work week with 12 ADV days
˃A stepping stone at your level & close support from the very first day
˃ Concrete career opportunities, to specialist or generalist or by project size
˃ A culture that rewards initiative and actively puts plumes on hats
˃ Sufficient informal moments and afterworks as well as a monthly 'Friday at the office', to stay in touch with all colleagues
˃ A young, dynamic environment full of doers and thinkers
From your very first day, you will be given a solid load of responsibility and freedom to organise your job and take control of your own trajectory.
You analyse the customer challenge independently or in a team, work out the performance requirements and define the concept, taking into account the space and utilities provided, budget and agreed timeline. Where necessary, you work out a full business case.
After the final go, the project is often cast in a tender and you support the choice of suppliers and subcontractors, for which you analyse the offers and make a correct estimate. Of course, you will also often come into contact with machine builders for this.
You coordinate the entire installation, with a proactive view to future maintenance, oversee the necessary testing and, after a final round of CIP, you sign off.
Since you will be spending most of your time with the client, you will be assisted by a coach, who is still actively working with you but already has a few years' experience. This coach will give you the necessary support to tackle projects, communicate in a focused way with all stakeholders involved and together map out your further path.
Finally, at least half a day a week, you can also meet your team leader on site, who can give you further advice, both on the technical aspects of the project and in general.
This Study & Project Office blows a fresh wind in the Engineering landscape through their service to clients but also their close involvement with their colleagues. Recently, their young, dynamic team expanded their activities in East & West Flanders.
Specialising in projects for the food industry, as well as the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors, their team is involved from the customer's initial request to delivery. They oversee the complete coordination of the projects, keeping a close eye on the budget and planning.
Due to further growth, they are currently actively looking for Junior, Medior and Senior Project Managers!
To be able to do your thing here, you should have:
A master's degree in civil, industrial or bio(chemical) engineering or a bachelor's degree with a first process-oriented experience
˃ Extensive understanding of technical plans and documentation, especially to process plants.
˃ Sufficient maturity to oversee projects independently
˃ Knowledge of PLC control, but that is not the main issue
Strong knowledge of Dutch & English and at least the courage to manage in French
˃ Flexibility to work an average of 45min from your home in East and West Flanders
Apply for this vacancy.
We will get back to you as soon as possible.
