Function

As a project engineer RFID, the following matters belong to your responsibilities:


-As a Project Engineer you work autonomously and you are responsible for our RFID hardware projects (tag orders, readers, antennas, handhelds...). This includes ordering, tracking, communication with our customers and suppliers, testing and shipping of the materials.

-After a thorough training you will join a close RFID-Team where you will be supported by RFID-experts, Sales, Project Managers and other colleagues.

-In addition, you will provide support to the RFID Support team who will teach you the ropes and assist customers in finding solutions to their problems.

-You will mainly operate from our offices in Stekene, but sporadic travel to our customers is also possible.

-You have a passion for technology and are willing to immerse yourself in a broad spectrum of different hardware solutions. You will come into contact with Auto ID (RFID, barcode, GPS tracking), Windows based servers & networks, own hardware products (e.g. own UHF RFID reader, ...), audio/video applications, ...

-You will provide technical support and document your projects and interventions so that they can be used by other colleagues.

-It is a challenge for you to satisfy the customer, after all you are the business card of the company.

-You are a hands-on bachelor/master in electromechanics, electronics, electrical engineering or equivalent through experience with a passionate interest in electronics or ICT.

-You like to figure things out and you find solving problems a challenge.

-You are self-confident and spontaneous and fit into a culture where team spirit is highly valued.

-You are flexible in terms of your work schedule and can stay abroad a few times a year for shorter periods (from 2 days to 2 weeks).
