As a Junior Engineer in the Technical Services Department (Denderleeuw), you are responsible for preparing and implementing the organisation of all maintenance, repair, modification and overhaul activities. You work in close consultation with the work planners, supervisors and technicians of the plant and are thus an important link between the work floor and management.

You report directly to the Plant Manager.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

-Planning: preparing and executing the organisation of maintenance, repair, modification and overhaul activities, in close cooperation and in consultation with the work planners & supervisor of our Technical Department

-Optimising: Detecting and resolving faults, analysing the cause and giving repair advice are also part of your duties.

-Innovate: You analyse the operation of the maintenance department and think about how to improve it by introducing innovative processes or technologies. You are allowed to think out-of-the-box in order to make our machine park future-proof.

-Teamwork: Together with your colleagues in the factory you ensure an increase in the reliability of the installations by means of preventive and curative maintenance.

-Analysing: You investigate common production stoppages caused by technical defects of the installation and then define solutions, which you may elaborate further after consultation.

-Communicating: Through constructive and clear communication, you try to build bridges between maintenance, production, engineering, process, quality...

- Administration: Taking care of the necessary documents and reporting (work instructions, technical sheets, ...) also belongs to your tasks.

The company's core activity lies in the innovative and sustainable processing of specific organic residual flows and animal by-products with the aim of adding value to them. The end products are used as natural ingredients for very diverse purposes, such as pharmaceuticals, foodstuffs, animal feed, technical applications, fertilisers and bio-energy.

-You have successfully completed your master's degree in a technical field (preferably industrial engineering)

-You are passionate about electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, ... and can convince us on the basis of relevant internships that you have what it takes

-You have a strong technical insight that you can translate into the development of your assignments

-You like to work theoretically but you also like to have your two feet in production

-As a born team player, working together has become second nature to you, which does not exclude that you also know how to successfully complete assignments independently
