Junior Accountant

As Junior Accountant You will join the accounting department of this well-known retailer in Zemst. Together with the team of about 6 colleagues, you will take care of various financial administrative processes for the head office and the branches. Your duties will include:

• General accounting and support for finance & accounting projects.
• Coding and posting of cost and investment invoices.
• Make payments to suppliers.
• Preparation of accounting documents, statistics and tax/legal returns.
• Follow-up of accounting accounts.
• Providing VAT returns.
• Follow up on open items suppliers and handle customer queries.
• Formatting reports in Excel.

For the position of Junior Accountant in the region of Zemst, we are looking for someone with the following profile:

• You have a degree in economics or finance or can count on relevant experience in a similar position.
• You know your way around Word and Excel fluently.
• You have strong administrative skills and an affinity with numbers.
• You have no problem with a varied range of tasks.
• Fluent in Dutch and a basic knowledge of French.
