Insurance Advisor

As an Insurance Advisor in the Mechelen area, you will become the face of the office. Your duties will include:

• Speaking to customers and answering questions, both in the office and occasionally at their premises.
• Identify commercial opportunities even before they arise.
• Largely work independently, preparing quotes, policies and negotiating with clients, with support from experienced colleagues's.
• Be active within both the private client domain and corporates.
• Managing claims files without problems.
• Build trusting relationships with customers as well as head office and experts.

To take up the role within Insurance in the Mechelen region, we are looking for the following profile:

• Commercial Drive: You have a natural affinity for customer contact. You are customer-oriented, proactive and give advice with flair.
• Initiative and Results-oriented: You take the lead and achieve results. You manage your files accurately and keep everyone up to date.
• Team spirit and eagerness to learn: You work smoothly together and put the team result first. You have a deep interest in the insurance industry and are always willing to learn.
• Background or affinity with insurance: An education in insurance is certainly an advantage, but a strong affinity with the sector and a solid motivation are equally valuable.
• Language skills: You communicate fluently in Dutch, and knowledge of another language is a plus.
• IT skills: You are comfortable with various IT applications.
• Willingness to learn: You seize learning and growth opportunities with both hands and proactively seek opportunities to develop yourself.

For our client, an insurance agency in the Mechelen region, we are currently looking for an additional employee to join the team as an Insurance Advisor. You will be part of a team of about 14 people spread across 2 locations. However, this does not compromise the good team atmosphere.
