Claims Manager Insurance

As an Insurance Claims Manager, you play a crucial role. You will be responsible for the administrative and operational management of claims files, from opening to closing. This includes the accurate assessment, processing and follow-up of claims files to ensure a quick and correct settlement.

• Evaluate and process damage reports.
• Contact with customers, loss adjusters and insurance companies.
• Preparation and follow-up of claims files.
• Analyse claims to detect fraudulent activity.
• Maintain good relations with all stakeholders.

You will ensure that all processes are efficient and customer-oriented and strive for continuous improvement of the claims handling processes.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A bachelor's degree, preferably in Insurance or a related field or equivalent through experience.
• Experience in a similar position within the insurance industry is a big plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactivity and problem-solving skills.
• A customer-oriented attitude and stress-resistance.
• Command of the Dutch language is a requirement and strong knowledge of French.
