GL Accountant

We are looking for a GL Accountant to join this finance team in Antwerp. Your duties will include the following tasks:

• Coordinate the GL accounting of the shared service centre.
• You will be responsible for VAT reporting.
• Updating and auditing IFRS accounts.
• Cash flow and cash planning
• You will work closely with the shared service centre and procurement team for bookings, cost allocations, customer and supplier payments.
• Prepare and submit monthly and annual reporting.
• Prepare and coordinate internal and external audit and financial statements.

To fill this role in Antwerp, we are looking for the following person:

• You obtained at least a bachelor's degree in accountancy.
• You can count on solid relevant experience, preferably in an international environment.
• Experience with Belgian VAT reporting.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Proactive, hands-on approach to project management.
• Experience in implementing processes and control systems.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
