As a PIM engineer, you will be responsible for the development of PIM as the central storage medium for the management of all product information. On a daily basis you will contribute to the availability and user-friendliness of PIM/MDM for the internal users, the assessment and roll-out of new functions and you will also pay attention to data exchange with other data systems (ERP, DAM, WCS,...)

For this position, you will work 1 day a week in Mol, 1 day a week at a location of your choice (Antwerp, Mol, Asse, Moorsele) and 3 days a week at home (if desired) within a flexible hourly schedule: start between 7:00 and 9:30 and stop between 15:00 and 18:00 in consultation with your colleagues.

You are responsible for the following tasks:

- You become an expert in the PIM system

- Based on questions, problems and complaints from the business, you look for possibilities to improve the user-friendliness and speed of processes.

- You carry out the necessary programming or code changes for this purpose

- You supervise the rollout of new functionalities and provide training to colleagues for this purpose as well

- You manage ENG language documentation

- You map out new user requirements and ensure that templates are built for preview purposes, among other things

- Assessing new releases for their usability for ERIKS

- You then carry out system updates

- You work out project proposals, e.g. the unlocking of PIM data to another application

In short: a varied job and ideal for those who do not want to programme full-time.

The emphasis is on back-end development, but if required, front-end can also be included (e.g. for visualisations, previews, templates, elaboration of 3-monthly written catalogues, ...)
