Function
For a company supplying customers in the industry with advice and the mechanical parts required for maintenance, repair and optimisation projects, we are looking for a Functional Application Engineer.
The company works with a PIM system (Informatica Product 360). As a PIM engineer, you will be responsible for the development of PIM as the central storage medium for the management of all product information. On a daily basis you will contribute to the availability and user-friendliness of PIM/MDM for the internal users, the assessment and roll-out of new functions and you will also pay attention to data exchange with other data systems (ERP, DAM, WCS,...)
For this position, you will work 1 day a week in Mol, 1 day a week at a location of your choice (Antwerp, Mol, Asse, Moorsele) and 3 days a week at home (if desired) within a flexible hourly schedule: start between 7:00 and 9:30 and stop between 15:00 and 18:00 in consultation with your colleagues.
You are responsible for the following tasks:
- You become an expert in the PIM system
- Based on questions, problems and complaints from the business, you look for possibilities to improve the user-friendliness and speed of processes.
- You carry out the necessary programming or code changes for this purpose
- You supervise the rollout of new functionalities and provide training to colleagues for this purpose as well
- You manage ENG language documentation
- You map out new user requirements and ensure that templates are built for preview purposes, among other things
- Assessing new releases for their usability for ERIKS
- You then carry out system updates
- You work out project proposals, e.g. the unlocking of PIM data to another application

- No previous knowledge of PIM is required

- SQL and PhP can be learnt or deepened
- Depending on your interests, we can focus more on variation (communication, front-end variation, ...) or on actual programming (back-end)
- Knowledge of NL and ENG
- Front-end knowledge may be a plus (Indesign Easycatalog)
