Field engineer

• Be part of the team providing operational services to customers
• Perform investigations using radioisotope techniques on processes and process equipment of customers onshore, offshore and abroad
• Liaise with customers and try to resolve all queries within a given timeframe.
• Use fault-finding and troubleshooting techniques to resolve customer requests
• Preparing professional technical diagnostic reports and presenting the findings and results to customers
• Promote expanded services to customers to generate future sales
• Becoming the radiation expert for the Netherlands and Germany

Our client is a leading global industrial technology company providing unique and specialised detection, diagnostics and measurement solutions. It is headquartered in the UK. Our client employs around 450 people worldwide, the team in Belgium has 8 employees.In the position of Field engineer, you will be part of the Measurement Insights team, which is responsible for performing Process Diagnostic techniques. You will work with sealed source techniques and relatively simple unsealed tracer techniques.

• Bachelor or Master in Electromechanics or Process Engineering
• A driving licence B
• No fear of heights
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English, French is a plus
• Writes fluently in Dutch and English
• Good software knowledge
• Experience in a similar role within the oil, gas or process industry, preferably
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers
• Practically laid on
• Inquisitive/challenging mind
• Team leadership skills
• Self-motivation
