We are currently looking for a Facility Manager who will be responsible for looking after and maintaining all services and resources available to staff members, including the buildings, work equipment, safety equipment, so that staff members can maximise their focus on the performance of their duties.


Your responsibilities:

In consultation with the F&A Director, you draw up a long-term and short-term facility plan and provide linked budgets.

You develop and implement a facilities organisation that can contribute optimally to the realisation of the business goals:

  • You ensure a well-maintained infrastructure and buildings (offices, premises, washrooms, dining facilities, etc.) that meet the needs of employees, within the available budgets of the organisation.
  • You ensure optimal parking facilities, within the capabilities and availability of the organisation.
  • You will ensure the organisation of company and safety clothing and safety equipment in consultation with the prevention adviser.
  • You take care of the accessibility of various spaces and the company premises.
  • You advise with regard to workplace design.
  • You organise the supervision of rooms and goods.

You ensure continuous improvements in terms of internal facility processes:

  • You initiate research, change and improvement processes to increase the efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction and/or safety of the organisation.
  • You will collaborate on projects that you develop with your colleagues from maintenance and operations.
  • You study existing plans and make improvement proposals.

You immerse yourself in legal rules and the organisation's expectations and implement proposals from A to Z in line with the rules and expectations.

You manage facility-related costs.

You will build good relationships with suppliers and communicate with them in a focused way:

  • You conduct targeted communication with suppliers, negotiate and collect quotations.
  • You mediate with suppliers as part of tender processes and ensure good value for money for the services provided.
  • You track suppliers and monitor the progress of projects and linked costs.
  • You will continue to build relationships with suppliers and be the first point of contact for them in case of questions.

Profile

  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field, or equivalent through experience.
  • You have at least 5 years' experience in your field.
  • You are aware of building and environmental legislation.
  • You are a go-getter, communicatively strong and enjoy shaping and monitoring your projects.
  • You are strong in planning and organising and have a strong hands-on mentality.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and have a very good foundation in English. German is a plus.
