Function

As equipment manager, the following are part of your duties:


  • You will be responsible for tower cranes, cable cranes, tugs, power groups, yard installations,.... In short, the big equipment falls under your care.
  • You will take care of maintenance, repairs as well as purchase of equipment.
  • You will also monitor and schedule inspections of equipment both internally and externally.
  • To do this, you will spend much of your time on the road to the sites where the equipment is located. The remaining time you spend at the depot taking care of administrative tasks (50/50).
  • The working day starts at 07h00.


Profile

As an equipment manager, you will largely meet the requirements below:


  • You have a bachelor's degree within construction or electromechanics or equivalent through experience.
  • You preferably already have initial work experience.
  • You are a born organiser and know how to keep an overview easily.
  • You are in possession of a driving licence B.

Organisation

Our client is a class 8 contractor with its own precast department in the Kruibeke region. They manufacture various building elements such as columns, wall elements, floor elements,... mainly from (reinforced) concrete. They have been supplying this to various sister companies for over 15 years. To strengthen the team, they are currently looking for a materials manager.
