Energy consultant

Job description

As an Energy Consultant, you will have the opportunity to scrutinise numerous systems and processes at our customers and discover creative solutions for energy savings.

What will you do?

• You will immerse yourself in our infrastructure and conduct detailed on-site energy audits of customers to identify hidden inefficiencies.
• With your sharp analytical skills and technical expertise, you will compile reports with concrete recommendations to improve energy efficiency at clients.
• You will work closely with our internal teams to improve our sustainability solutions.
• For some clients, you will also have an advisory role, helping management devise strategies to reduce their carbon footprint.

Job requirements

• Do you have an engineering background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy engineering or a similar field.
• Do you have experience or background in conducting energy audits and knowledge of energy management and energy efficiency practices.
• Are you a sleuth for energy saving opportunities and ideally already have experience with complex systems and industrial environments.
• Communicate effortlessly with different stakeholders and know how to convey technical concepts comprehensibly. If you can also do this in English, this is a plus.
• Knowledge of Excel
• KWh, PJ and CO2 are not unfamiliar terms to you.

Our client advises companies on energy-saving techniques and coordinates their full implementation. They currently focus on lighting, energy monitoring, energy audits, PV installations and charging stations.
