Electronics Test Engineer
Function
As Electronic Test Engineer you would be responsible for the testing of electronic circuits within the framework of a satellite equipment, starting from the board level test (including FPGA and BIOS/BSW code) and up to unit level test (where complete integrated equipments will be tested).
On top of the electronic tests at ambient temperature and pressure, you would also assist during the environmental acceptance campaign of the equipment and you would have to make sure that the boards/equipments adheres to its specification under all circumstances. You would also participate in the equipment level functional and performance test campaigns and would document test results.
Profile
The ideal candidate would be a multidisciplinary, pro-active, creative, enthusiastic, and result-oriented team player and should have:
Bachelor degree in electronics engineering or similar by experience.
Experience with program/control/connect test equipment such as:
- (Programmable) power supplies
- Oscilloscopes (incl various types of probes and probe amplifiers)
- Multi meters
- Function Generators (incl. AWG)
- Programmable loads
- Data logger
- DC power analyser
- LCR gauge
Knowledge about ESD is a must (both for equipment and personal).
Ability to follow a detailed step-by-step procedure.
Ability to work with fine pitch and delicate electronic components and PCBs.
Affinity with scripting is an asset.
Fluency in English.
Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills.
