As a Design Engineer, you will be part of a team and responsible for the development of submodules based on system requirements for machines in various sectors.

• You design for the end customer. These can be projects from parts to entire machines.
• You ensure that specifications are met in terms of safety, reliability, stability, cost-effectiveness, manufacturability and maintainability according to various industry standards and regulations.
• You continuously improve yourself, your work and your performance. You strive for maximum quality and customer satisfaction.
• Technical communication with customers and suppliers.

• Technical diploma, bachelor or master e.g. electromechanics, ... 
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a development and engineering organisation with various realisations.
• Track record of mastering electrical & mechanical engineering: design principles, generation of new designs and technical concepts.
• Knowledge of various industry standards, regulations and machine guidelines.
• Excellent knowledge in the field of manufacturability and ease of maintenance.
• Knowledge of 3D CAD modelling (Inventor, NX).
• Selection of supplier components.
• GD&T, tolerances, reading electrical schematics, construction principles.
• Strong analytical skills with a pragmatic attitude.
• Ability to work in an international multicultural environment.
• Creative thinking.
• Good communication skills in English and Dutch
