Consolidation and reporting manager

In this new position, you will play a crucial role to improve the quality and automation of the consolidated financial reporting of. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will be responsible for coordinating and preparing the quarterly and annual consolidation process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Your duties will be as follows:

• Quarterly consolidation of management accounts: Monitor dates, review intercompany transactions and ensure accurate accounting adjustments in line with group standards;
• Direct planning, data collection and consolidation for year-end closing;
• Contribute to the preparation of the annual report and management of ESG data;
• Configure and manage the software;
• Elaborate optimisation processes, expand the use of financial systems and implement processes that ensure improved quality and timing of reports;
• Work with the Accounting team to create guidelines, ensuring a consistent approach to group reporting;
• Communication with external auditors and accountants.

Our client operates in 3 main sectors: water treatment, swimming pool industry and medical industry. For their Finance team, they are looking for a Consolidation and Reporting Manager.

As consolidation and reporting manager, you are/have:

• A Master's degree in economics or accounting;
• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience;
• Knowledge of intercompany transactions, multicurrency consolidations and financial reporting;
• Experience in auditing is a plus;
• Good oral and excellent written communication skills;
• Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail, while also being able to stand back and see the bigger picture;
• A true team player who can also work independently, with a proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
• Fluent in English and Dutch;
• Experience with consolidation software is a plus.
