As a calculator within this construction company in Geel, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You make cost calculations for small and medium-sized renovation projects and energy-efficient renovations.
• You study the specifications to filter out important issues and request information from architects and boards.
• With your knowledge of market prices, you will use your know-how, judgement and commercial insight to sell the company's projects.
• You make price requests to suppliers and subcontractors and follow up and interpret these. You can call on administrative support for this.
• You compare the construction-technical characteristics of the project with your own methods of execution and look for alternative working methods. You do this in cooperation with the division and so together you form the commercial and innovative engine of the projects.
• You report to the technical commercial manager and argue elaborate price calculations.

For the position of 'calculator' in Geel, we are looking for someone with the following profile:

• You are a construction engineer with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• You are familiar with renovation projects and preferably have experience with public tenders.
• You can work well with MS Office (focus Excel).
• You like working with figures and are very analytical.
• You are stress resistant. Working with deadlines is something that gives you energy.
• You have an eye for efficiency, quality and safety.
• You are someone who can bring structure and work in an orderly manner.
