As a buyer you are responsible for:

• analysing the needs on the basis of the forecast and internal departments
• the ordering process from a to z
• monitoring agreements with suppliers: terms and conditions, delivery deadlines, contracts, etc.
• both written and oral communication with (inter)national suppliers
• vertical purchasing responsibility for a very diverse range of purchases
• administrative handling of your files as well as general filing tasks

This company is located in the Ostend region and is a renowned machine builder within cutting solutions. The cutting equipment is mainly used in the graphic, signage, display, clothing and packaging industries.

As a buyer, you preferably meet the following requirements:

• you have a bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience
• you have a strong command of languages, Dutch, English and French
• You have technical insight
• you are communicative and commercially minded
• You have experience with MS office and an ERP system
• you think in terms of solutions
• you strive for better conditions with suppliers
