Business Controller

As Business Controller, you will join a team of about 35 employees. But you will mainly work closely with the Bookkeeper and the CEO. There is a nice atmosphere with room for team building on time and stood. Furthermore, entrepreneurship is only encouraged here and you are given the space to have an impact on the further development of the company. This is a full-time job with a 40-hour week, entitling you to 12 days off. You can count on a correct salary supplemented with net expenses, hospitalisation insurance. A company car is also an option. Moreover, there is also the possibility of working independently in this position.

As Business Controller, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• Participate in the digital growth of the company taking into account the standards within accountancy and needs of the organisation;
• Mapping accounting processes for optimisations and effectiveness;
• Assist in the development of internal control systems;
• Reports, monthly closures and accompanying analyses;
• Preparation of financial statements, corporate tax preparation and other year-end transactions;
• Thinking along with the Business (price setting, margins, strategy).

Our client is an SME operating in the metal industry with a turnover of 8 million. To support the CEO, we are currently looking for a Business Controller.

As Business Controller, you are/have:

• You have at least a bachelor's degree in economics;
• You already have initial experience in a similar role;
• You work proactively and have an entrepreneurial mindset;
• Moreover, you are also analytically strong;
• You are dynamic and like to take initiative;
• You have good problem-solving skills and always think about the most efficient method;
• Knowledge/Experience with Exact Online is a plus.
