Business Controller

At this Business Controller opportunity, you will start on an immediate permanent contract. The standard schedule is 40 hours per week.

The financial picture is as follows:

• a gross monthly salary depending on your relevant experience

As Business Controller, you will have the following range of duties:

• Controlling the finances of 2 local divisions;
• Direct and control the quality and accuracy of financial reports taking into account group/business policies, internal controls, external regulations and accounting principles;
• Participate in process improvements in the areas of back office, customer service, logistics, service, pricing, finance, controlling and accounting;
• Support the business with quotations, calculations and risk analyses;
• Tracking KPIs through relevant dashboards and business intelligence.
• Participate in strategy planning that ensures profitable growth;
• Align margins with targets and net price realisation by product and customer;
• Preparation of financial reports;
• Ensure accuracy and effeciency of commercial processes, including market price positioning, quotations, sales price management and credit and collection management.

As Business Controller, you are/have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics;
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as (business) controller, preferably within a larger company or corporate environment;
• Strong knowledge of accounting;
• Understanding and feeling for the business;
• Good knowledge of SAP and very strong knowledge of Power BI;
• Good knowledge of Dutch, English (and French);
• Stress-resistant and accurate;
• Analytical thinking skills;
• Critical and proactive attitude;
• Strong communication skills;
• Ambitious and willing to develop further as a controller.
