You will work a 40-hour week with 12 ADV days. A 3-week leave is already collectively fixed.

Function

As assistant project manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • After the sale is closed by one of the representatives, you will take care of it together with the
  • project managers for the project follow-up of various exterior joinery files through to completion and after-sales service.
  • Starting from the sales dossier, you take technical measurements on site together with the project leaders or on your own and, together with the project leader, you review the assembly options and finishing based on practical implementation on site.
  • If necessary, you will make technical construction drawings in AutoCAD. Depending on your experience and growth in the sector, you will be able to make appointments with clients, architects and follow up certain matters yourself.
  • You will take necessary photos and notes and make work preparations in cooperation with the
  • project manager so that your colleague work planner can make the entry in our production programmes to order all materials.
  • Some smaller items you can order yourself and process administratively.

Our client is a family-run SME that has been manufacturing and installing aluminium windows and doors for over 40 years. They have both production and installation under their own management and have 3 branches, mainly serving the East Flanders and Antwerp markets. Their innovative production department and years of expertise guarantee quality. Today, they have about 50 employees. To support further growth, they are currently looking for an assistant project manager. 

Profile

As an assistant project manager, you will largely fulfil the following:

  • You have a good technical understanding and learn quickly.
  • Experience within exterior joinery is a plus.
  • You already have notions of Autocad.
  • You are customer-oriented and have strong communication skills.
  • You work efficiently and accurately.
