For the position of Insurance Adviser in the Heusden-Zolder region, we are looking for someone who can start working full-time.

The hours are 37.5 hours per week with a fixed schedule in which you are free on Wednesday afternoon anyway and work a bit longer on Thursday because of the late-night opening. Working from home is currently not an issue here as the preference for appointments really does still involve face-to-face contacts.

The financial picture is as follows:

  • A gross monthly salary depending on your relevant experience
  • Eco vouchers of €250
  • Meal vouchers of €8
  • Possible bicycle allowance

Function

We are currently looking for an Insurance Advisor to join the team at this office in the Heusden-Zolder region.

Your range of tasks:

  • You will proactively contact existing customers and find out if there is interest in taking out one or more insurance policies; this does not involve pushy commercial actions.
  • You record appointments and conduct commercial discussions with interested parties in order to optimise their insurance portfolio.
  • You prepare quotations regarding car, fire, hospitalisation and/or family insurance (BOAR).
  • You follow up on these offers and put everything in order administratively once the customer has confirmed in writing.
  • You will prepare policies, send out invoices and monitor their payments.
  • You remain a contact for your customers here.
  • In case of claims, you take responsibility and take the necessary actions to support your customers.
  • You plan expertises in consultation with head office and do the translation to your customers, if there are questions about this.
  • During the counter's opening hours (3 half-days a week), you will also take care of the necessary tasks here. In other words, you will already be helping people with basic questions. This naturally provides the necessary variety in your job. Moreover, this is also a source of possible appointments.
