Function

We are looking for an additional Banking & Insurance Advisor for this banking and insurance firm in the Beringen region.

As a commercial employee, you will still have the space within this office to partly shape your own job. Of course, everything starts with the basics and you will have to get to know the different pillars within the bank. This way, you will be able to make links and spot opportunities at a later stage when you have commercial conversations.
Within the office, the counter is also open several hours a week. In an initial phase, you will also provide partial support here as this is a great learning opportunity and introduction to the office's clients.
Afterwards, in consultation with the office manager, of course, you have the freedom to decide which specialisation you want to specialise in. Based on the chosen specialisation, you will be able to enjoy the necessary internal training so that you become the specialist within that particular niche.
Besides making the consulting calls, a first step in the story is of course making sure your diary gets filled with appointments. In other words, you are not afraid to pick up the phone and call people to invite them for an interview. To do this, you can rely on an extensive network of customers with a lot of potential.

Profile

For this Banking & Insurance Advisor role, we are looking for the person who can identify with the following:

  • You possess a natural dose of commercial flair.
  • If you have a background within a financial field such as a Bachelor's degree in Business Management: Finance & Insurance, this is certainly a plus. But even if you do not hold such a degree, you will certainly be considered for this position if you can convince us of your drive and commitment.
  • Naturally, you have a healthy interest in the world of finance and these matters are not unfamiliar to you.
  • You speak Dutch at a professional level.
  • You are willing to attend various training courses so that you can eventually call yourself a true specialist within your field.
  • You are able to eventually set your own agenda based on priorities set by yourself in consultation with the office manager.
  • Besides your own specialisation, you are someone who also likes to broaden his knowledge to the other branches in the bank.
