As a Bookkeeper A-Z, your duties at this company in the Puurs area will include the following:

• You will be responsible for the Accounts Payable section.
• You will be responsible for the Accounts Receivable section.
• You will be responsible for monthly and annual returns.
• You will assist with the monthly and year-end closing and VAT declarations. Here, you can also count on support from external contacts.
• You will work closely with the Finance & HR Officer.
• In time, you will also perform some of the auditing tasks.
• You will be back-up for the payroll part in the absence of the HR Officer.

In other words, the aim is to really do the accounting from A to Z. In doing so, you work according to the rules of BE GAAP.

To take on this challenging role in the Puurs area, we are looking for the person who recognises themselves in the following:

• You can count on a school background within accounting. Think of a bachelor or master degree in a relevant direction. Of course, equivalent through experience is also useful.
• You can count on a nice experience of several years in an accounting role. In this, you will already have experience in keeping accounts from A to Z.
• If you are already familiar with the controlling aspect, this is definitely a plus. Otherwise, you are definitely willing to learn this.
• Knowledge of Exact Online is a plus.
• You will be working in an international environment. This means you can count on a solid knowledge of Dutch and English. A mouthful of French will certainly come in handy too.
• You are able to think out of the box.
