As Bookkeeper A-Z for this company in the Antwerp region, you can help write a new chapter. You will be involved from the start in setting up the 'Belgian' accounting system and therefore also in the switch from BeNeLux to Belgium. Naturally, you can count on the necessary support of the current Finance Manager. Your duties will include the following tasks:

• You will be responsible for A-Z accounting. For processing invoices, you work closely with the administrative colleague.
• You prepare and submit tax returns.
• You will be responsible for financial closures.
• You will prepare reports ranging from cash flow planning, fixed assets to inventories and personnel.
• You will also prepare reports related to transfer pricing.
• All these reports are prepared for headquarters in Germany or Switzerland. 
• You prepare budgets for the coming years.
• You will be in charge of insurance follow-up.

We are currently looking for a Bookkeeper A-Z for a company in the region of Antwerp. As Bookkeeper A-Z, you will join the Belgian team of this international organisation. Currently, pretty much all back-office tasks are carried out by the Dutch branch but the intention is to carry out all accounting tasks in the Belgian branch.
This organisation is part of a multinational with a wide range of applications. The Antwerp office specialises in sales and maintenance of maritime cranes. There are currently just under 15 people in the office.

For this vacancy of Bookkeeper A-Z in the Antwerp region, we are looking for the person who can identify with the following:

• You have an economic or financial background from your studies. For example, a Bachelor's degree in Business Management: Accountancy-Taxation or a Master's degree in Commercial Sciences or similar.
• You have supplemented this training with several years' work experience in an accounting position. Ideally, you will have gained experience in all aspects of bookkeeping from A to Z.
• Have you currently been working in an accounting firm for several years and want to make the transition into the corporate world? Then this is definitely a great opportunity!
• Experience in preparing reports within IFRS standards is a plus.
• You speak Dutch and English at a professional level. If you also speak a word of German, this is a bonus.
• You can draw your plan to fully master Belgian accounting.
