As a Bookkeeper within this international organisation in the Herentals region, your duties will include the following:

• You will be responsible for all operational accounting.
• You prepare the monthly reports.
• You will be responsible for preparing and filing VAT and tax returns.
• You will help prepare, review and follow up internal reports.
• You will help think about possible improvements to the ERP system.
• You go to the full 100% for smooth cooperation with customers, banks and suppliers.
• You will work closely with the finance manager.

We are currently looking for a Bookkeeper for our client in the Herentals region to join the team. This company operates internationally within the manufacture of fasteners and machines and tools for hot and cold forming of steel. Its customers are mainly in the automotive industry.

To fill this accountant vacancy at our international client, we are looking for the person who recognises themselves in the following:

• You obtained a bachelor's degree in an accounting field. For example, consider Business Management with the Accountancy-Taxation option.
• Ideally, you already have initial experience of three years or more in an accounting role. Moreover, does this experience take place in a manufacturing environment? If so, this is definitely a plus.
• You have smoothly mastered the MS-Office package.
• You are someone who likes to dive into the numbers and study them analytically.
• You can cope well with imposed deadlines.
• You know how to express yourself fluently in Dutch and English, knowledge of German is a plus.
