Financial Controller

As Financial Controller, you are responsible for the financial reporting process of the entire organisation. You ensure the quality of financial data and work closely with various teams to achieve accurate and efficient reporting. Your tasks include:

• Managing the entire financial reporting process.
• Collaborate with ERP team for data warehouse structure.
• Monitoring and improving financial data with a focus on analytical accounting structures.
• Monitor the closing process to ensure timely and reliable reporting.
• Perform analyses such as inventory management, intercompany transactions and consolidations.
• Effectively apply consolidation and elimination techniques.
• Compile reports in cooperation with the business control department.
• Combining actuals and forecasts.
• Involvement in the implementation of a new BI tool and contributing to further optimisations.
• Continuously improve processes in collaboration with the finance and operations team.
• Supervising new entities in the ERP system.
• Optimisation and training within the ERP system for financial controls.
• Primarily working from the main location, with occasional moves to other locations for consultations.

As a Financial Contrioller, you are/have:

• Master's degree in Commercial Engineering, Commercial Science or equivalent through experience.
• Experience in driving financial processes.
• Knowledge of consolidation and audit is a plus.
• Analytical skills with a good eye for detail in accounting data.
• Accurate, results-oriented, independent and team-oriented.
• Strong skills in Excel and experience with BI tools.
• Fluent communication in Dutch and French, basic knowledge of English is a must.
