Electrical project engineer
Function
As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of designers and project leaders to create detailed technical designs for projects worldwide. This role offers the opportunity to devise innovative and technical solutions for applications such as pipe freeze prevention, process temperature maintenance, tank heating, and more. You will be responsible for designing heat management systems and power distribution systems in the European market, while respecting strict project deadlines.
- Designing detailed electrical installations and heat management systems using in-house software and AutoCAD.
- Analyse customer data and develop technical solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Interpret technical documents such as P&IDs, pipe drawings, isometric drawings, and bills of material.
- Quantify and compare alternative technical solutions as part of bids.
- Provide technical support throughout the project cycle, from quotation to delivery.
- Collaborate with colleagues in CAD and electrical design departments, both locally and internationally.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and product training.
Profile
You are/have...
- graduated in a technical field.
- (Basic) knowledge of piping systems, valves, and P&IDs. Understanding of electrical power distribution, process automation, and ATEX/IEC standards is a plus.
- Experience in a technical or process environment, preferably within the oil, gas or petrochemical industry is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Experience with AutoCAD, MS Office and company-specific software.
- Spoken Dutch and English; French is a plus.
- accurate, stress-resistant and communicatively strong. You are a problem-solver who can work independently but is also a team player.
- A driving licence B.
