Sales Engineer

For the position of sales engineer, you will be responsible for active prospecting, maintaining and further expanding the existing customer portfolio. You analyse customers' needs and propose technical solutions that meet their wishes and expectations. Your customers are found in various sectors such as (petro)chemical, food, paint, industrial...

You develop technical quotations together with your inside sales colleague and negotiate customised solutions. You also provide commercial-technical support to the sales team and ensure correct follow-up and after-care of the concluded contracts. At delivery, you offer technical support to customers to ensure successful implementation.

Clients are located all over Belgium, with larger numbers in Antwerp and Limburg.

For this job, you have the following competencies:

• You have a technical bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in electromechanics or chemistry.
• Experience within the process industry is a big plus.
• Knowledge of mechanical and/or chemical processes is important.
• Commercial drive and ability to build trust with customers.
• You are flexible to move around all over Belgium.
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a plus.

This company specialises in designing and manufacturing industrial agitators/mixers for various industries. These mixers are the heart of production for their customers' processes. It is a family business with a total of around 24 employees. Their office/production is located in Zwijndrecht. In Belgium, they are the only producer.

Our client is going for the following value package for this sales engineer position:

• A gross monthly salary depending on knowledge and experience.
• A full-time job of 39 hours per week, with 6 ADV days.
