Production Manager

• You will be responsible for the development, coordination and execution of production activities within our organisation;
• You actively participate in the preparation of the business plan. You think along how your department can contribute to our mission to be the best partner with certainty;
• You translate the strategy into concrete objectives and policies within the production policy;
• You monitor the production budget;
• You quickly identify areas for improvement and proactively make suggestions around these;
• You prepare, coordinate and execute (large) investment files;
• You manage 1 direct report, the production coordinator. The entire production department consists of 13 employees divided into 3 departments (warehouse, resin and granules).
• You will work out projects and coordinate implementation together with your colleague production coordinator;
• You continuously optimise the production process, and help think about general optimisations within the organisation;
• You manage the tactical staff planning within your department to ensure optimal, healthy staffing levels;
• You manage and report the necessary KPIs on a regular basis;
• You coordinate the stock count in collaboration with your colleague purchase & pricing coordinator;
• You will ensure smooth communication between the maintenance department, customer service, QC and production;
• You will be part of our management team and report directly to the CEO.

• You have a master's degree in industrial engineering under your belt, majoring in electromechanics is a plus;
• You have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a production manager;
• You are a good people manager who supports the development of the people in your team;
• You are IT minded and have strong digital skills;
• You have a hands-on personality and are able to make solution-oriented decisions;
• You are a highly accurate worker and analytical thinker;
• You already have extensive knowledge of ERP systems. If you have experience with Navision, that is a plus;
• In addition, if you have knowledge of LEAN, Kaizen or 5S, that is an added value;
• You are all set to gain the necessary knowledge through our extensive in-house training.

Production site with 35 employees.
