Project Engineer

For the position of project engineer at this company in the Port of Antwerp, you will work on the technical elaboration of installations and projects specifically tailored for our customers. You will be involved in the realisation of various projects within chemicals, petrochemicals and shipping. Your duties include:

• Devise concepts and develop them technically.
• Making calculations for projects.
• Follow up on production and projects.
• Managing colleagues's on various projects.
• Support and report to the engineering manager and operations manager.

You are also willing to work hands-on and join the field in tinkering with projects when necessary.

For this project engineer job, we are looking for someone with:

• Industrial Electromechanical Engineer or equivalent through experience.
• A safety-oriented work ethic.
• Independence and planned, efficient thinking skills.
• A hands-on mentality.
• Experience in preparing maintenance reports and recommending improvements.

This company active in the chemical and maritime sectors is 10 years old. They passed into the hands of a US group in 2019 but they definitely haven't lost their individuality in the process. They are currently growing strongly and are looking to expand even further by next year. This company provides services to the chemical and maritime sectors such as degassing, pipeline testing and equipment rental. They also pioneer cryogenic degassing applications. The projects are always tailor-made, depending on the customer's demand. Their customers are largely located in the Port of Antwerp.
