Bookkeeper A-Y

As a Bookkeeper A-Y in the Brecht area, you will be responsible for daily accounting and reporting. You work independently, but have regular consultations with the Financial Manager. Of course, you can also contact the other team members when needed. You will report at set times and have the following tasks:

• Management of supplier administration: processing purchase invoices, credit notes's and preparing payments.
• Processing of financial transactions.
• Planning cash flows for new vehicle sales.
• Follow-up of debtors.
• Preparation of VAT and intra-community returns.
• Preparation and processing of stock lists.
• Preparation and drafting of intermediate results.
• Preparation of year-end closures.
• Assist in year-end closing with external auditors/auditors.
• Reporting monthly figures to the importer.

• At least a first relevant work experience in an accounting function.
• A higher degree in an accounting or economics field.

We are currently looking for an additional Bookkeeper A-Y for a well-known player within the automotive industry to join the current team. You will be joining a group of approximately 100 employees, 5 of whom work in accounting. Our client is active with several branches spread over the province of Antwerp where they also offer different brands.
