Function

For the position as Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Implementing the companies industrial reliability process during product development from concept to launch;
  • During this process you will collaborate with program teams for multiple product lines;
  • Ensuring product lines proactively use Reliability Data Analysis during product definition;
  • Leading Reliability Risk Analysis, Plan and Track DFR activities, lead Reliability Target Allocation to systems and subsystems, and
  • ensure statistical validation for component reliability;
  • Working with Product Engineering, Product Validation, Program Management, and Quality to develop and track Reliability Growth plans at vehicle level and report results periodically;
  • Participating in the problem resolution board to ensure problems are resolved quickly and effectively;
  • Demonstrate support for company culture in their daily actions and behaviours;
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area;
  • Following established safety and ergonomic standards;
  • May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed;
  • Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.

Profile

What are the key competences for this position as Reliability Engineer:


  • Having a Bachelor degree in Engineering or Statistics;
  • Having knowledge or a background in mechanical, electrical, automotive engineering;
  • Knowledge of Reliability Data Analysis, DFR tools, Design for Robustness;
  • Having experience in the effective application of reliability methodologies such as DFMEA, Reliability
  • Verification, Design for Reliability, Reliability Growth, and Reliability Test development;
  • Being able to teach and train the programme team members in reliability methods and tools;
  • Working experience of Minitab, Weibull++, Reliasoft SW modules, SAS.
