As Financial Controller for this vacancy in the Antwerp region, your duties will include the following:

• You will prepare weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual reports. These analyses then cover, for example, turnover figures, monthly results and comparison analyses. For this, you will always make comparisons with the budget and the previous period.
• You will be responsible for preparing and monitoring budgets.
• You participate in the preparation of the consolidation report for the entire group at BeNeLux level.
• You liaise closely with the finance director on various projects.

We are currently looking for a Financial Controller for a client of ours to join the team at the head office. Our client is a well-known retail player with several outlets across the country.

To take on this role of Financial Controller, you know yourself by the following:

• You hold a master's degree within Economic Sciences, Commercial Engineering or Commercial Science.
• You have already been able to complement this education with about five years of experience within finance. Think analytics, auditing and/or controlling.
• You have strong analytical skills.
• You have a thorough knowledge of Excel and can work smoothly with macros.
• You can express yourself at a professional level in Dutch. You can also express yourself fluently in Dutch and French.
• You have a solid backpack filled with basic accounting knowledge.
• You naturally possess the following traits: accuracy, discretion and integrity.
• If you have already been able to build up experience in reporting and an international context or have experience at another retail player, this is definitely a plus.
• Knowledge of AXI is nice but not a requirement.
