Overhead Line Site Manager

Function

As an Overhead Line Site Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day management and operational delivery of railway worksites. You are the main point of contact on site and ensure the smooth, safe and high-quality completion of every project. Your duties include, amongst other things:

• Preparing and supervising the work on site
• Co-ordinating and planning staff and equipment
• Optimising the technical implementation of the project
• Monitoring the quality of the work and the safety of the team
• Communicating with the client and providing day-to-day guidance to your team
• Providing information, monitoring and checking work
• Preparing and maintaining the accounts and statements of claims

You will spend most of your time (90%) on site. Night and weekend work form part of this role (approximately 50–60% of night work, up to 20 weekends per year) and are, of course, paid at a premium.

Profile

Are you a hands-on organiser and manager with an interest in technology? If so, you’ll recognise yourself in this profile:

• A diploma in electromechanics, electrical engineering or a similar technical discipline
• A passion for infrastructure and rail projects
• You have excellent communication skills and are able to plan and organise with ease
• A team-oriented, hands-on approach
• You are results-oriented and have a keen eye for safety and quality
• Flexible and willing to work irregular hours, at night and at weekends
• Be able to speak Dutch fluently and read technical drawings
