Function

Are you technically trained, do you have an affinity for electromechanics and are you looking for a coordinating position in the rail sector? Our client, an innovative player in rail infrastructure and signalling, is expanding its project team and looking for a driven Site Superintendent Seinrichting.

As a Site Manager Seignalling, you are responsible for the smooth running of all technical activities related to railway signalling in Flemish Brabant and Limburg. Your job is extremely versatile and technically challenging:

• You will coordinate all works around the installation and maintenance of rail signalling, with a focus on electromechanical systems.
• You directly manage technical team(s) on site and direct subcontractors.
• You will monitor the application of quality and safety regulations and guide the team towards safe and sustainable results.
• You will draw up schedules and work preparations and ensure the right materials at the right time.
• You will keep abreast of recent technological developments within signalling installations and apply these innovations in practice.
• You understand technical files, measurement statements and customer specifications.
• Together with the project manager, you optimise work processes and execution techniques.
• You will report monthly on the (technical) works carried out.
• You are willing to supervise night work periodically.
• You will switch smoothly between on-site work, client consultations and administrative tasks.

Profile

• Professional Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electromechanics, Electricity, Industrial Sciences, or equivalent through experience in a technical environment.
• You have managerial or coordinating experience within technical (infra) projects.
• You have a strong interest in railway engineering, industrial electricity, automation or electromechanical installations.
• Knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics is a great asset.
• You are problem-solving, fluent in communication and flexible in terms of working hours (day/night).
• You work fluently with Excel/Office and are organisationally strong.
• You speak Dutch fluently. Knowledge of French is an extra plus.
• You are in possession of driving licence B.
