Function

As a draughtsman, you translate architectural plans and technical sketches into detailed working drawings. You will contribute to a wide range of projects and ensure that the production team has all the necessary technical information.

Your duties will include:

  • You will be working with Tekla to build a detailed 3D model of the project based on sketches and plans.
  • You will draw up construction drawings for, amongst other things, foundations, roof and wall elements.
  • You will produce detailed drawings and reinforcement plans for, amongst other things, columns, beams and other structural elements.
  • You convert the 3D model into clear 2D working drawings for production.
  • You will work closely with the engineer responsible for the project.
  • You liaise regularly with production, sales and project management, making you a key link between design and implementation.
  • You will carefully review your drawings and ensure that the plans are technically accurate and ready for production.
  • Don’t have any experience with Tekla yet? No problem: you’ll receive the necessary training and on-the-job support.

A technical role offering plenty of variety, in which your draughting work contributes directly to the realisation of specific construction projects.
