Technical Draughtsman
Function
As Technical Draughtsman At Kinrooi, you will help to design, develop and optimise innovative blister packaging machines for hospitals and the pharmaceutical industry. You will translate technical concepts into precise drawings, thereby directly supporting the development, production and assembly of machines that meet high standards of quality and reliability.
Your duties will include:
- Designing and developing machine components and assemblies in Autodesk Inventor.
- Preparing production and assembly drawings.
- Drawing up and managing parts lists.
- Technical development of new machines and client projects.
- Optimising existing designs with a focus on manufacturability and reliability.
- Provide technical support to production and assembly.
- Contributing ideas for practical solutions in the field of mechanical engineering and translating technical input into usable drawings.
You will be working in a technical environment where precision, collaboration and a solution-oriented approach are key. This role offers opportunities to learn, develop and gradually take on more responsibility within the engineering team.
Profile
For this role, we are looking for a Technical Draughtsman with an interest in engineering and a strong desire to develop their skills within mechanical engineering. Experience is an advantage, but candidates with 0 to 3 years’ experience are also welcome to apply, provided you work accurately and can easily translate technical information into clear drawings.
Your profile:
- You have completed a technical degree, preferably in mechanics, electromechanics, product development or a similar field.
- You are familiar with, or would like to explore further, Autodesk Inventor.
- You have a good grounding in technical drawing and can read technical drawings with ease.
- You work with precision, in a structured manner and with a focus on quality.
- You communicate clearly with colleagues in engineering, production and assembly.
- You contribute ideas towards solutions and have an eye for designs that can be put into practice.
- You are keen to learn and willing to acquire new knowledge within an innovative technical environment.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering, parts lists and production-oriented drawings is an advantage.
A proactive attitude, a team-oriented approach and an interest in technical innovation are key assets for this role.
