Technical Draftsman

Function

As technical draughtsman You will be responsible for drawing up technical layout plans for load-bearing floors. You will work closely with a team of engineers and draughtsmen and contribute to high-quality, technically sound solutions within the concrete industry.

Tasks:

• Studying and analysing structural engineering plans and specifications
• Drawing up and drafting layout plans for load-bearing floors using AutoCAD
• Designing technical solutions for vaults, precast slabs, T-beams and other concrete elements
• Working with engineers and fellow draughtsmen to develop projects in a technically sound manner
• Taking account of building regulations and client-specific requirements when drawing up plans
• Ensuring that technical drawings are finished to a high standard and with precision
• Contributing ideas on efficient and practical technical solutions within ongoing projects

Profile

To perform this role successfully, you will have a strong technical foundation and work with precision and a focus on finding solutions. You feel at home in a construction engineering environment and derive satisfaction from producing high-quality technical drawings.

Profile requirements:

• You hold a graduate or bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field
• You have a good understanding of construction technology and are able to interpret building plans and specifications correctly
• You have experience with or knowledge of AutoCAD and other 2D drawing software
• You work accurately and in a structured manner, and have an eye for detail
• You contribute to the technical side of things and are skilled at devising practical solutions
• You are enterprising, keen to learn and enjoy building long-term partnerships
• You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Basic knowledge of French

For the role of technical draughtsman, you can expect the following remuneration package:

• Gross salary: €3,000 to €3,500 per month (depending on experience)
