Are you ready to be at the heart of production? As Shift Supervisor, you will be the captain of a driven team and make sure everything runs smoothly.

You keep the overview, monitor the planning and ensure that production is delivered not only on time, but also in top quality. With your strong leadership and organisational talent, you give your best every day - and lift your team to a higher level.

What does your day entail?

• You are the first point of contact for the production floor.
• You monitor production planning via the ERP system
• You manage and coach your operators and warehouse workers, hold evaluation interviews and ensure their development
• You accurately track time records, leave and attendance
• You guard the quality and productivity of your team
• You will work smoothly with your fellow Shift Supervisor to ensure a seamless transition between shifts
• In case of technical failures, you will work with the Technical Coordinator to quickly address the problem
• You determine priorities and ensure optimal staff distribution
• You think actively about process improvements and dare to bring innovative ideas to the table
• You monitor order, tidiness (6S) and ensure a pleasant, structured department
• You encourage discipline, discipline and above all togetherness within your team
• Every day, you actively implement the SQE policy and the values of bematrix in all your actions

Profile

What does the ideal shift supervisor for our client region Roeselare look like?

• You have successfully completed a technical education and have at least three years of leadership experience, preferably to groups of more than 20 employees
• You are energetic, positive and know how to motivate and really move your team forward every time
• You feel comfortable in a 2-shift or night shift system and have a flexible attitude
• Fluent in both written and oral expression in Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a nice plus
• You know how to handle MS Office and other PC applications faultlessly
• Communicatively, you are clear and confident, you know how to get others moving
• You are not afraid to make quick decisions and can easily remain calm, even in busy situations
• You have a keen eye for improvement, work accurately and no detail escapes your attention
