Service Technician
Function
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical installations at customers' premises. After a thorough induction period, you will go out independently and take ownership of your files.
Your duties will include:
- Delivery and commissioning of installations at customers' premises
- Carrying out preventive maintenance
- Detection and troubleshooting
- Perform repairs (in-house and on-site)
- Providing technical support to customers
- Preparation of service and intervention reports
- Thinking along on technical improvements and solutions
You will mainly work independently on the job, but can always fall back on a strong technical team.
Profile
Who are you?
- Graduate or bachelor degree in Electricity/Electronics (or equivalent through experience)
- At least 3 years' experience as a service or electrical engineer
- Strong problem-solving and independent
- Flexible (standby duty and sporadic foreign travel)
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English
- Driving Licence B
- Living in the Halle area (or willing to travel easily)
Organisation
Our client specialises in power management solutions (low voltage electrical power) and prefabricated modular data centres. They provide engineering solutions, mainly for sectors such as telecommunications, healthcare and utilities in which they have extensive expertise in custom development of voltage converters and emergency power groups. As a centre of excellence, they offer customised solutions that are developed and manufactured together with the customer. They have their own production and currently operate with over 70 employees. Due to growth, they are currently looking for a Service Technician.
