Infrastructure project engineer

Function

As Project Engineer You support the engineering department and the site team throughout the entire course of infrastructure projects, from preparation phase to execution. You provide technical substantiation, analyses and optimisations that contribute to smooth, correct and efficient project realisation.

Your duties will include:

• Analysis of specifications and contract documents
• Technical support to the site team during preparation and execution
• Preparation of technical, financial and organisational studies to optimise implementation
• Consultation and coordination on site with project teams and relevant stakeholders
• Maintaining close contacts with suppliers, subcontractors and study agencies
• Calculation support during the proposal phase of specific projects
• Reporting to the person in charge of the study department

Profile

For this vacancy, we are looking for a driven engineer for our client with a strong interest in infrastructure and project preparation.

You ideally possess:

• Diploma in industrial engineering or civil engineering
• Preferably several years of relevant experience in infrastructure or road construction
• Very good knowledge of Dutch and good knowledge of English or French
• A basic knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus
• Familiarity with the Standard Specifications 250
