Junior site manager

Function

As a Junior Site Manager, you’ll have the unique opportunity to start your career at a forward-thinking construction company specialising in renovation and restoration.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• You will be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, management and preparation of the projects.
• You will be supported by an experienced project manager.
• You will monitor the progress of the work and ensure smooth communication on site.
• You will play an active role in the administrative follow-up of projects.
• You will draw up implementation plans and contribute ideas on the best working methods.
• You are constantly working to optimise processes and improve efficiency.
• Safety, efficiency and craftsmanship are always your top priorities in all your work.
• You will check incoming deliveries and building materials.

Profile

To be successful in this role as a Junior Site Manager, the following criteria are important:

• You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• You are keen to learn, and work experience is not a requirement thanks to the comprehensive in-house training programme.
• You have strong organisational skills and an eye for detail.
• You are flexible and able to cope well with stress, even in challenging circumstances.
• You are able to work well independently, but also function perfectly as part of a team.
• You take safety regulations seriously and play a proactive role in problem-solving on site.
• You are fluent in Dutch and, ideally, have a good knowledge of English.
• You are communicative and enjoy working in a team.
• You are willing to spend one year working hands-on on the construction site.
