Junior designer mechanical engineering

Function

Are you an enthusiastic Mechanical Draughtsman eager to launch your career? As Mechanical Draughtsman, you will design and create technical drawings that form the basis of complex projects, mainly in Belgium (BE). You work closely with engineers and project teams to develop innovative solutions and overcome technical challenges. In this role, you will analyse technical specifications, create CAD drawings and ensure that all designs meet quality and safety standards.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Development and elaboration of mechanical designs in CAD software.
• Work closely with engineers and other team members to address technical challenges.
• Analyse technical specifications and documents to ensure designs meet all requirements.
• Check designs and drawings for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Support the production and realisation of projects.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and eager to learn, and has a grounding in mechanical design. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates to apply their skills in practice.

Key qualifications, skills and experience:

• A degree in a relevant technical field (e.g. Mechanics or Mechanical Engineering).
• Knowledge of CAD software is a plus (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar programmes).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• A proactive and inquisitive attitude, with a passion for engineering.
