Front line manager

Function

As Front Line Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operation of multiple production lines within your department (baked, extrusion, flowpack, press shop and palletisation).

You:

• monitors operational performance and adjusts where necessary
• coordinates cooperation between production, engineering and quality
• ensures correct implementation of production planning
• is the point of contact in case of deviations and initiates improvement actions based on data, analysis and observations
• monitors the technical availability of the installations
• ensures clear communication between all teams involved

You lead a team of about 25 operators and packers. You motivate them to excel in safety, quality, productivity and cooperation.

Profile

We are open to both experienced candidates and driven starters with the right background.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial sciences, electromechanics, food technology, process engineering or similar or focused experience
• Experience in a managerial role within production is a plus
• Technical insight and strong analytical skills
• A natural leader with good communication skills and sense of initiative
• Very good knowledge of Dutch and good knowledge of French and English
• Willingness to work in a five-shift system (continuous)
